Home Dashboard

Your front door — hero banner with greeting and Game Link status, library stats with animated ring gauge, health snapshot, quick actions, feature promos, and Discord.

How to get here: Click the Home icon in the sidebar.

The Home page is your front door to SimSweep. It's a scrollable, content-driven layout with your library overview, health snapshot, quick actions, and promos — all in one vertical feed. When the Companion Mod is connected, the hero banner switches to a live game view.

Hero Banner

The hero banner sits at the top of the page inside a 16px-radius card spanning the full width. It shows art in the background with a dark left-to-right gradient overlay for text readability.

When not connected: The background shows a warm Sims house scene. The left side displays a time-of-day greeting — "Good Morning", "Good Afternoon", or "Good Evening" — followed by your name (pulled from your Google or Patreon display name via SYVR auth). Below the greeting, a conversational subtitle adapts to your library size:

  • Over 10,000 items: "Your library has 12,716 items across 58.8 GB. That's a serious collection."
  • Over 5,000 items: "...Growing nicely."
  • Under 5,000 items: "...Keep building."
  • No scan yet: "Run a scan to see your full CC collection, find conflicts, and check your mod health."

On the right side, a solid accent-colored Launch Game button starts The Sims 4 directly.

When connected: The background crossfades to the active Game Link art. A thin green scan line animates horizontally across the top of the banner. Below the greeting, a live status row appears with:

  • A pulsing green dot
  • Household or lot name in green (Decrypt+ only — Free users see "Companion connected" with a Decrypt badge)
  • Object count and error count in muted text (e.g. "743 objects · 2 errors") (Decrypt+ only)

The Launch Game button is replaced by an Open Cockpit button (translucent green background, green text, green border) that navigates to the Game Link cockpit.

Library Section

Appears below the hero when you've run at least one scan. At wide viewports, Library and Health sit side by side in a 1.3fr / 0.7fr grid. At narrow viewports, they stack vertically.

The Library card has no border (this is intentional — it's visually differentiated from Health by having no border at all). 16px border-radius, 24-28px padding.

  • "LIBRARY" header in small uppercase muted text, with "Scanned 2h ago" timestamp on the right
  • Animated count-up number at 28px bold (e.g. "12,716") with "items" label
  • Total folder size below in small muted text (e.g. "58.8 GB")
  • Two-tone progress bar (6px tall, rounded) — accent color for used storage, track color for unused, animates from 0 to actual width over 1.2s
  • Used vs unused breakdown (e.g. "10,200 used · 2,516 unused") with reclaimable bytes in warning color when applicable (e.g. "39.9 GB reclaimable")
  • "Browse CC" outline button at the bottom, navigates to My CC

Health Section

Sits beside Library at wide viewports. This card has a 3px left border colored by health status — red (danger) below 50, yellow (warning) 50-79, green (plumbob) 80+. 16px border-radius. Clicking the card navigates to Diagnostics.

  • "HEALTH" header in small uppercase muted text
  • Animated ring gauge (72px diameter, 5px stroke) — fills clockwise proportional to health score, colored to match the status. The score number appears centered inside the ring in bold text, colored to match.
  • Status label next to the ring: "Needs attention" (red), "Needs cleanup" (yellow), or "Looking clean" (green)
  • Issue rows below the ring, each with a colored dot, label, and animated count:
    • Red pulsing dot + "Broken files" + count (only when > 0)
    • Yellow dot + "Conflicts" + count (only when > 0)
    • Yellow dot + "Duplicates" + count (only when > 0)
    • When all are zero: green dot + "No issues found"
  • "View diagnostics" link in accent color at the bottom

Empty State

When no scan has been run yet, an empty state replaces Library + Health. It shows a centered illustration (sim with a cardboard box, 120px tall), a message ("Run your first scan to unlock your library, diagnostics, and health score."), and a Scan Now button in accent color.

SYVR Mods Promo + Quick Actions

Below Library/Health, a two-column grid (stacked on narrow viewports) shows:

Left: SYVR Mods promo card — Art-backed card with diagonal dark gradient, "SYVR Mods" title, "Official mods, hosted on SimSweep" subtitle, and "Coming soon" badge in accent color. Fills the height of the Quick Actions beside it. 16px border-radius.

Right: Quick Actions — A section headed "QUICK ACTIONS" in small uppercase muted text, containing:

  • Scan Now — Full-width solid accent button (primary action). Shows "Scanning..." when active.
  • 2×2 grid of secondary buttons — each with an icon, label, and subtle border:
    • Browse CC (grid icon)
    • CC Hub (globe icon)
    • Diagnostics (warning icon) — shows a small yellow warning dot when issues exist
    • Tools (wrench icon)
  • Open Mods Folder — Text-only link at the bottom (only shows when mods path is detected)

Feature Promo Cards

Three art-backed promo cards in a 3-column grid (stacked on narrow). Each has a 4:5 aspect ratio with a bottom-up gradient overlay and text at the bottom. Cards spring-scale on hover (1.02x) and tap (0.97x).

Discord Card

A full-width card at the bottom of the page with the real SYVR Discord server icon (48px circle), "SYVR Community" in bold, "7,500+ simmers · Get help, share finds" subtitle, and a "Join" link in accent color. 16px border-radius, lifts 2px on hover with shadow and accent border glow. Clicking opens the Discord invite link.

When you click Open Cockpit from the hero banner, you navigate to the Game Link page. This is a separate full-page view with live companion mod modules. See Companion Mod for details on what each module shows.

The cockpit features draggable module panels for Health, CAS, Build, and more. The active module (matching your current game mode) glows with a colored border. Inactive modules are compact pills showing just the module name and a one-line status.

What's NOT on the Home Page

The following features from earlier versions have been removed or relocated:

  • Session History — Session data is still tracked by the companion mod and saved locally, but there is no session history list on the home page
  • Zone Loading Profiler — Zone load phase data is collected by the companion but no waterfall chart appears on the home page
  • CC Usage Summary — CC health tracking data is available in diagnostics, not on the home page
  • Interaction Failures — Interaction failure data from the companion appears in diagnostics
  • Idle Panel — The old compact stats rows have been replaced by the Library and Health cards
  • Scan History dropdown — Removed from the home page
