Creator Shelf
Browse and install official SYVR mods directly from SimSweep with one click, including the Game Link companion mod.
Creator Shelf is where official SYVR mods live. Think of it as a small curated catalog inside SimSweep itself. You can see what is available, check whether it is installed, and install or uninstall with a single button. No downloading, no unzipping, no dragging things into folders.
Finding it#
Open Creator Shelf from the sidebar or from the promo card on the Home screen.
Browsing mods#
The shelf shows a card for each official mod. Each card has a name, a short summary, and its current status. Press a card to open the detail view, which shows more information including dependencies, the version installed (if any), and what files it installs.
Install states#

| Ready | Available to install. Nothing installed yet. |
| Installing | Download and install in progress. |
| Installed | Fully installed and up to date. |
| Repair | Partially installed. Some expected files are missing. |
| Uninstall | Already installed. Press to remove it. |
If you see Repair, it usually means the install was interrupted or some files were moved. Pressing it reinstalls the expected files cleanly.
Installing a mod#
- Open Creator Shelf.
- Find the mod you want and press Install.
- SimSweep downloads the mod and places it in
Mods/SYVR. Done.
If you already have an older version, SimSweep checks the installed version against the current one. If an update is available, the button reflects that.
Uninstalling a mod#
Open the mod card and press Uninstall. SimSweep removes the files it placed in Mods/SYVR. It only removes files that it installed.
Refreshing the catalog#
If install states look stale, press Refresh official mods at the top of the shelf. This re-checks what is installed against what is expected.
A few notes#
- Official mods always install into
Mods/SYVR, not into the root of your Mods folder. - If you see Mods folder not detected yet, SimSweep could not find your Mods path. Check your settings and make sure your game location is configured correctly.
- Catalog unavailable means SimSweep could not load the mod catalog. This usually clears up on its own if you refresh.
- Creator Shelf is free and requires no subscription.
