Double-click the .exe to start the install. Windows SmartScreen will probably show a warning because SimSweep is an independent app without a code signing certificate. This is normal. Click "More info" then "Run anyway" to continue.
The install itself takes a few seconds. SimSweep goes into your AppData folder by default.

When you open SimSweep for the first time, it automatically looks for your Sims 4 installation. If your game is in the default location, it'll find your Mods folder, Tray folder, and Saves folder without you doing anything.
If you've got a custom install path (external drive, different partition, etc.), you'll be asked to point SimSweep to the right folders. This only happens once.

Hit the scan button. SimSweep reads every .package and .ts4script file in your Mods folder, cross-references your saves and tray data, and checks for broken files, conflicts, and unused CC.
How long it takes depends on your collection:
The app stays responsive while scanning. You can watch it work through each phase.

Once the scan finishes, you'll see your CC Health Score up top and a full breakdown below. Broken files, conflicts, unused CC, per-creator stats, the whole picture. Nothing has been touched or moved yet. SimSweep just tells you what it found.
From here you can quarantine files, dig into specific creators, or just check your overall folder health. Everything you remove goes to quarantine first, so nothing is permanent.
